I live near Llanwrda and make small editions of original prints, mainly of birds.  I make intaglio and relief prints including wood and linocuts, etchings, collagraphs and monotypes.  

I try to express the spirit and vitality of a species, inspired by the rich variety of birds in this area.  

I love the way different printmaking processes transform my drawings and the magical moment of pulling a print from the press.

Directions to studio

​

Go to Llanwrda on the A40 between Llandeilo and Llandovery.  Take the A482 Lampeter turning.  After 4 miles turn right to Porthrhyd.  After 1.2 miles turn right opposite red phone box.  After exactly 1 mile Garreglefain is halfway up a hill on the left, through a wooden farm gate.

For SATNAV use SA19 8PA and continue for another 1/2 mile.
